Z-Spot Cancellation Policy

Your appointment is very important to Z-Spot, your appointment day & time are reserved specifically for you. If you must cancel or reschedule any appointment, I require you provide me with 24-hour notice of such. This allows me to adjust my schedule accordingly and to accommodate any clients on my waiting list. I understand that unavoidable issues come up and will do my best to work with you in case of emergency, illness, etc. Here is a breakdown of Z-Spot cancellation fees:

Less than 24-hour notice will be charged a fee equal to 50% of reserved appointment(s)
“NO SHOWS” will be charged 100% of reserved appointment(s)

As a courtesy, I send an email confirmation to remind you of your appointment. Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment date and time in order to avoid missed appointment and cancellation fees. Please feel free to contact me directly if you’re unsure when your next appointment is!

Z-Spot Late/Tardy Policy

Life happens! I will try my best to accommodate you if you’re running behind, stuck in traffic, etc. Unfortunately, tardiness affects the remainder of my day and clients. For this reason, you will be allowed a 10-minute grace period. After your 10-minute grace period, I will call to check in on you. If you are able to make it in for the remainder of your service(s), great! If not, please know that you will be subject to Z-Spot cancellation policy as listed above.

Z-Spot Guarantee Policy

I want you to leave feeling 100% satisfied with your service(s). If you do not feel 100% satisfied, please contact me within 3 days of your appointment so that I may re-book your service free of charge. Any issues reported longer than 3 days from original appointment date will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Blood panels & blood tests are not the most comprehensive way to get biofeedback when testing for hormonal purposes.

Why would you want to measure your results against median health of the average person? We want OPTIMAL health.

Shoot for a DUTCH test, it’s more specific to your internal levels & also measures cortisol.

DM me to get set up with Alex, the best of the best for functional testing.

Functional testing >>>

Before you jump on the latest internet trend bandwagon, or invest in a program or “reset”, go out & get YOUR OWN DATA.

I am the biggest proponent for functional testing. There is not better way to know exactly what’s happening inside your body. You literally get the biofeedback & are able to create a game plan from that feedback.

I know you’re frustrated, I know you want answers + solutions. Functional testing is the way to get you there.

Send me a DM & I’ll hook you up with Alex, she’s the best of the best for functional testing + results.

“Zoey is a true professional in the world of skin and acne.
I started my skin journey/battle in 2022 and struggled by myself for a year until I reached my tipping point and reached out to Zoey in 2023. We walked through lifestyle changes TOGETHER (I never felt alone- acne can be such an isolating experience to go through).

Fast Forward to late 2023, Zoey and I realized that my skin issues were stemming deep down. The treatments were keeping things mild but there was still inflammation. Zoey then referred me to a nutrionist who helped me get to the bottom of a battle I’ve been dealing for 22 yrs (IBS, intestinal permeability, fatigue etc.). Fast forward again to March of 2024, I get a break-out here and there but NOTHING like I was experiencing before. And my journey is not done.
I’m towards the end of this several year battle. Zoey will be a part of my skin care regimen acne or no acne.

If you are looking for help with your skin and want someone who won’t lead you astray or in a mindless direction- Zoey is your girl.”

So much of the food we consume today has become overly process, highly-industrial, & has no nutritional value.

Emphasizing a clean, whole food, versatile diet is an easy & effective way to promote vibrant skin.

I like to hit protein, vegetables, & moderate carbohydrate with every meal, especially at lunch & dinner.

There is a deep physiological connection between our skin health & our emotional health.

When an energetic response is not fully released, it manifests physically. The most common emotions affecting acne are anger & self-criticism.

Anger:
Anger promotes the stress response, which releases hormones in the body. Testosterone was shown to be increased in individuals who experienced anger. The testosterone released during episodes of anger can contribute to acne.

From a metaphysical perspective:
Unresolved, trapped conflict = pus-filled pimple.
Anger = inflamed skin.

Awareness is the first step in monitoring our anger. Understanding triggers & how often we feel angered allow us to have control over the emotion.

Self-Critcism:
Decreased self-esteem elevates the daily cycling of cortisol levels. The lower the self-esteem, the higher the cortisol secretion. This means the stress response is heightened in individuals with a poor self-image.

Acne worsens the internal-critic. This triggers acne via the stress response. This then becomes a cycle.

Research shows that as self-esteem increases, cortisol secretion becomes more balanced. This lessons the acne response & can help break the cycle.

See self-criticism as a part of the mind that needs to be shut down. When you have a moment of self-criticism, identify the trigger & override it with positive-attribute rebuttal.
